  This mower has performed OK for the 12 months I have had it but the belt occasionally comes off which is a real task to put it back on.

  I purchased a Al-Ko mower and the blade bent when I hit a tree root in my lawn. I have used other mowers for around 40 years and never seen this occur. I suspect the the hardening of the blade was insufficient if hardened at all. So I tried to purchase a replacement blade only to learn that Al Ko in Sydney do not supply directly to the public. They gave me the name of an agent who could supply their parts. When I called the agent he was not very helpful, at first he didn't recognize the name Al Ko but after some prompting did agree that he could supply parts. Then he told me it would take a week to get the parts but that I would have to visit his shop before anything would be done.
